Vendor Information for Expos and Fairs

 

SCHEDULE:             Expos are normally held 4 times each month as follows:

                             First and 2 nd SUNDAY                  -        1- 5 pm
                             Third SATURDAY                            -         1- 5 pm
                             Last Sunday the Healing Expo         -     1 -5 pm
LOCATION:             1920 Hollister Road, Houston (between Long Point and Hammerly Blvd.)

VENDOR SETUP:      The building is open for setups 2 hours before opening to the public.  If for some reason you are delayed, please notify our office immediately.   Space will be re-assigned on a first come basis beginning 30 minutes before the public opening time. You can rent our tables/massage bed for $5.=, depending on availability, Reserve upon booking. Booth space is final upon reservation by phone or in writing. No refunds will be made.

PAYMENT:              Subject to space availability, our receipt or your cancelled check/money order (made out to CenterPoint) SEVEN (7) days before the Expo or Fair will reserve your space.  Please indicate if you require indoor or outdoor space.

Indoor space is limited, however; last minute bookings can usually be accommodated outdoors or in the Auditorium.  Late bookings/arriving Vendors must pay cash at the door.

(Additional space requirements are available on a pro-rata basis.)

Vendors may give FREE demos or charge for their service.  All proceeds from your sales or service at the Expo are yours.  CenterPoint does NOT require a percentage.CenterPoint Project, Inc.

Over the last 25 years we have become one of the better known and best attended Expos in Houston. Promotions for our Expos include radio and TV spots, newspaper  and magazine advertising and write ups, advertising in our own monthly CenterPoint Journal and our web site at www.centerpointhouston.com. Our Journal and flyers are distributed to health food stores, doctor’s offices, coffee shops, book stores, Churches, medical centers, YMCA facilities, libraries and corporate and government offices throughout the greater Houston area.

Terms & Conditions for participation in
CenterPoint Expos and Fairs

The following Terms & Conditions apply to all vendors and service providers attending CenterPoint Expos and Fairs, who accept the following as a requirement for participating in CenterPoint Expos and Fairs:

  1. Vendors and Service Providers shall occupy assigned space only and shall supply their own table(s) or rent a table or tables from CenterPoint on an as available basis. Table rent is $5.00
  2. Limited electrical power is available for an additional charge. Fee is dependent on expected usage.
  3. Vendors must not post signs on any wall or fixture. All signs must be temporary and placed on vendor supplied frames or stands. Practitioners must have the appropriate license/certification.
  4. Vendors are solely responsible for their property and personnel and agree to hold CenterPoint Project, Inc., and its personnel harmless from any action, civil or criminal, that may ensue from the activity of the vendor.
  5. Any damage to CenterPoint property, decorations or furniture caused by a Vendor or Service Provider either directly or by personnel under their control, shall be paid for by the Vendor or Service Provider, upon presentation of the repair estimate.
  6. Exhibit space shall be used solely for the display of the exhibitor’s products or services as agreed upon reservation. Only 1 product/1 service per booth. 
  7. If 2 or more services are performed vendor must rent another booth space.  If not CenterPoint has the right to cancel the agreement and related fees and charges shall be forfeited.
  8. Sub-letting is not permitted, including the display of non-vendor related items or goods.
  9. Pets brought by vendors, alcohol, smoking, loud music are not permitted.
  10. All exhibits shall be manned and remain in place during the hours the event is open to the public. All phones on ‘vibrate’ please.
  11. Discretion shall be used when using sound producing equipment. If, in the sole judgment of CenterPoint, the conduct of a booth is negatively impacting other participants, CenterPoint reserves the right to caution the offending exhibitor and, if necessary, stop the offending exhibitor’s activities if conditions acceptable to Centerpoint are not restored.
  12. Vendor/Service Provider agrees that CenterPoint will not be held responsible or liable for any damage to or loss of vendor property or injury/accident to vendor personnel.
  13. Vendor’s vehicles shall be parked at the rear of the CenterPoint property. Under no circumstances shall vendor vehicles be parked at the front of the property where public parking will be obstructed.

 

If you reserve and pay for your space at least six (6) weeks prior to the event we may be able to include your FREE listing in the CenterPoint Journal, Expo Advertising, web site, etc.
All vendor fees must be paid 7 days in advance. No refunds, incl. ” Acts of God”.
